Best Ab Workout

This is one of the most common questions out there… What is the the best ab workout?

Well everybody has their own opinion on this one and this is no different in my case, so I will share with you what
I consider to one sort of the best ab workout I have to offer. I won’t beat around the bush blabbering on… Here are the
best ab exercises in my opinion.

Bicycle Crunch

  • Lay on your back with both feet stretched out straight in front of you.
  • Raise both legs about 6 inches off the ground.
  • You then bring one knee up as far as you can and touch it to your opposite elbow.
  • Then you straighten that leg back out and bring the opposite knee to touch the opposite again.
  • Repeat until you can do no more!!!

Sit Ups

Good old fashioned sit ups!   They havn’t stayed around for so many years because they don’t work!

  • Lie on your back then bring your knees up about halfway.
  • Put your hands beside your head.
  • Use your stomach muscles to come up toward your knees, it should feel like you are using your shoulder blades to
lift your body and do not bend your neck.
  • Come back down again and repeat. Remember it is all about good form, so you can rush through 200 of them and not
feel a thing, or do 30 of them and be gasping for air.

Leg Raises
Before you do leg raises you should allocate a time to each position, I would recommend about 30 seconds for each
position to start with.

  • Lie on your back with feet straight out in front of you, then raise them six inches off the ground.
  • Hold for the desired amount of time.
  • Raise your legs about half a meter off the ground.
  • Hold for the desired amount of time.
  • Keep your legs that high and spread them wide open.
  • Hold for the desired amount of time.
  • Lower your legs to six inches off the ground and keep them wide open.
  • Hold for the desired amount of time.
  • Point your legs straight again six inches off the ground.
  • Hold for the desired amount of time.

Well done if you can complete this, it is an amazing abs workout if you can hold it.
